You need to meet the Maintenance Fund requirement, i.e. have £1,890 in savings, held continuously for 3 months prior to your application.
Advantages of YMS Visa
The UK Government believes that YMS Visas facilitate cultural exchange and provide exciting opportunities for young people from the participating countries. The Youth Mobility Scheme (YMS) provides an opportunity to experience life in the UK and gain work experience in the UK for up to two years. You may also be able to study while in the UK under Youth Mobility Visa.
The YMS is a reciprocal scheme, with its terms negotiated and agreed between the two countries, which enables young British citizens to benefit from similar opportunities overseas. The UK Government may include more countries for the scheme and hence you should keep visiting this place to find the latest position.
Restrictions & Other Conditions:
You are not permitted to be employed as a professional sportsperson or doctor or dentist in training under this scheme and you are not permitted to bring family members to the UK as dependants.
There are certain visa restrictions and conditions, including an annual cap, applicable for the scheme so please contact us if you wish to have more details or need help with your visa application under Youth Mobility Scheme.
